Equipments in Operating-room
(1) Video Server (Necessary)
Function: The core of the whole system, it accepts the request from every single room, then regulates the video files and send them to each room.
Theory: The Video Server is composed with one or more reliable and stable computers, and with great capacity for storage which was supported by IDE/SCSI hard disk inside. The videos are all kept in the songs storeroom, and more than 2,000 DVDs can be stored in one 250GB hard disk.
Advantage: Thunderstone’ video server is the most advanced and safest server in the whole industry now, and every single server can support that people select the songs in about 60 rooms at the same time. And it can ensure that the other servers work well when the failure happens on one of the video servers.

(2)Network (Necessary)
Function: The whole KTV system is connected with network, and it includes wire and switching system.
Explanation: High quality twisted-pair should be used in the network layout, and the length should be shorter than 100 meters, to make sure the videos play fluently in every room.
Specification: 100M switching machine could fit for the small KTVs, while 1000M switching machine should fit for the big ones.

Balcony Equipment
(1) STB (Necessary)
It’s the pride of Thunderstone since we researched and developed the STB. More and more people realize that STB is the development trend of KTV industry. STB becomes to be the most important equipment in the balconies.
Function: Users can select songs and drinks by the STBs, as well as the other operations. STB decodes the music files into audio/video frequency with high quality and then play it. Users can also connect touch screen, panel, and controller with the STB.
Position: Normally, in the TV cabinet.
(2) Controlling Box (Necessary)
Function: Controlling Box is the hinge of the balcony equipments, which connect STB with wallboard, service bell and sound boxes. It makes the STB can receive the signal from the wallboard and controls the service bell and sound boxes.
(3) Guided singing box (Optional)
Function: Be applicable on the guided singing function.
Position: Normally, in the TV cabinet
(4) Lighting Controlling Box (Optional)
Function: Be applicable on the lighting controlling function.
Position: Normally, in the TV cabinet
(5) AV Distributor (Optional)
Function: Usually there are one songs selection terminal and more than one TVs in the luxurious balcony, what the AV distributors do is to distribute the video signal, which is from the STB, into many routes, and put the signal out to the songs selection terminal and TVs.
Position: Normally, in the TV cabinet
(6) Songs Selection Terminal (Necessary)
Function: LCD, panel, Microphone can be installed on it.
(7) Panel (Optional)
Function: One of the songs selection equipments which is usually used in the whole-sale price KTV.
Development Course: Since “Cashbox” “Melody” bring in the whole-sale price KTV and come to the top of china, the KTVs in china gradually follow their business mode and adopt small keyboards just like they do. However, the small keyboards are replaced by the big panels day by day, and the big panel’s developed from air bladder which is adopted on the airplane to touch panel with higher quality.
Position: Normally, on the song selection terminal, and with controlling box inside.
(8) Touch Screen (Optional)
Horizontal screen and Erect screen are the two ways to select songs on the songs selection terminal. The touch screen not only has all the songs selecting functions, but also can control the sound boxes and lights through handwriting. It’s modern and convenient.
Position: It’s built in the LCD or incorporated with the songs selection terminal.
(9) Performance Terminal (Optional)
Function: To place a performance terminal in the luxurious balcony could put up the luxury ambience, and the singers could face to the audiences when they are singing. What else is needed is an LCD screen.
Advantage: By using Thunderstone KTV system, users could replace the high-price LCD screen TV with lower price LCD and AV-VGA switching box.
(10) Wallboard (Necessary)
Function: Normally, be built in the wall near to the sofa, with switching songs, silence, volume control and some other functions. Multiple wallboards are needed in a luxurious balcony.
(11) Service Bell and Reposition on-off
Function: When the guests push the service button on the touch screen, big panel or wallboard, the service light will be turned on with loud noise to capture the waiters’ attentions until the waiters come into the room to offer the service and turn the bell off.
Position: The service bell is installed outside the balcony near the door. And the reposition on-off is installed inside or outside the balcony near the door.
(12) Voice Selection Microphone (Optional)
Function: To be installed on the songs selection terminal and it supports the voice selection function.

Financial System Equipment
(1) Prearranged PC (Optional)
Function: To reserve the rooms that the guests book in advance.
Position: To be installed at the reception desk or in the reservation center.
(2) Search PC (Necessary)
Function: To look up the reservation records and empty rooms for the guests.
Position: To be installed at the reception desk. Receipt printer could be optional.
(3) Cash Register (Necessary)
Function: To check the bill with the cash register pc, and one or more cash register could be used based on the size of the KTV.
Explanation: A receipt printer is needed.
(4) Consumptive List Printer (Necessary)
Function: Thunderstone KTV system can print the consumptive lists automatically where the kitchen or the storeroom is, and the waiters deliver the ordered the drinks to the corresponding rooms.
Advantage: The receipt printer could save money and time when it’s free of maintenance, and be fitted for some smudgy places such as kitchen.
Explanation: To be installed in every kitchen or storeroom.
(5)Manager PC (Optional)
Manager could inspects the business status at real time and analyses the financial index based on the history data.
Explanation: Wide row printer could be optional installing in the manager’ office to print the financial reports.
(6) Storeroom Management PC (Optional)
Function: To manage the storage by Thunderstone’ income, sale and storage systems.
Explanation: To be installed in the storeroom.
(7) Supermarket PC (Optional)
Function: To manage the supermarket by Thunderstone’ system.
Explanation: To be installed out of the exit, bar code scanner and controllable cash boxes could be optional.
(8) Showgirls Management PC
Function: To control the showgirls’ being on duty and profit.
Explanation: To be installed in the showgirls’ restroom
